I’ve been a founder, or executive, at a handful of venture-backed companies, leading all throughout the lifecycle — from startup, to scale-up, to acquisition. The common theme that unifies my career is unlocking economic opportunity for millions of people across the globe. That work also brought me to Google, first into its Next Billion Users group, and now leading another such initiative, within its Area 120 incubator.

I’ve also been an investor, and advisor, to startups, and have served as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at the MIT E-Center. I’ve got an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Systems Design Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo, and have been an inventor on multiple patents.

This blog is meant to take the learnings I’ve accumulated (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and distill those into frameworks that can help the others, so that they can make a larger, and more meaningful, dent on the universe.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time attempting to indoctrinate my preschool twins to be New England Patriots & Toronto Raptors fans. And whatever time is left over tinkering on new products, attempting to exercise, and upleveling my cooking & cocktail making skills.
